Practicing English conversation on the telephone has become one of the most popular programs around the world in the last couple of years and not for no reason.

We recommend having 30 minute conversations 3 times a week for best results. Practicing often will help you get your mind, mouth and ears used to having a conversation in English.
English conversation on the telephone is suitable for students who are pre-intermediate and above in level (you must know at least 1000 words in english).
This usually means that you are able to understand quite a lot in English when you read or listen but need to improve on your ability to put those words together in conversation.
English conversation on the phone are done one on one with a native English speaker.
During the conversation the teacher corrects you both orally and in writing (this is inputted into a feedback sheet – a document to which you have access).

25 Minute Conversations in English
It’s important you get enough practice to see meaningful improvements. Too little will signal your brain that this skill isn’t important enough and that the new information (grammatical and lexical items) aren’t important to commit to memory.
In the same way that going to the gym twice a week for 15 minutes wouldn’t lead to meaningful changes in body composition – similar practice when learning a new language isn’t going to be sufficient.
We recommend practicing your English speaking at least twice a week for 30 minutes and preferably 3 times a week.

Levels
Vocabulary of up to 600 words:
As a beginner you will mostly practice your speaking by answering yes\no questions with an emphasis on expanding your vocabulary.
After about 3 months you will be able to understand 300 additional words and have a basic conversation in English (When traveling abroad for example).
600-1200 word vocabulary:
In this level you will continue expanding your vocabulary and improve your ability to use the vocabulary you have newly acquired.
1200-1700 word vocabulary:
Rich practice speaking about a variety of subjects such as: work, studies, personal interests, hobbies, childhood experiences, plans for the future, recent project, family and children.
1700-2300 word vocabulary:
Talk about a variety of subjects from both your professional and personal world. Acquire phrases that will help you speak English more eloquently.
Improving your skill at using grammatical structure you’re already familiar with and expanding to more advanced points in English grammar.
2300-3000 word vocabulary:
Task specific practice for students who need to speak English in the workplace. Role play typical situations from you day to day to achieve high proficiency where it really matters.
Learn advanced lexical and grammatical structures such as conditionals and perfect tenses.
3000-16,000 word vocabulary:
Tackle the most challenging tasks such as: public speaking, negotiations in English and representing your organization or yourself like a pro.
Here you will also learn the most advanced and minute structures in grammar and the fanciest phrases that will make people suspect you may have been born in Britain or the US.

How does it Work?
At Bright English we have created lesson plans specifically for learning English over the phone. This ensures that you will get plenty of speaking practice.
During the lesson you will learn new vocabulary, phrases and grammar. The teacher will help you use these new items throughout the conversation and make sure you internalize them.
Every lesson has a topic which is represented by a series of questions. Between these questions the teacher types up corrections in real time.
Lesson Scheduling
Upon registeration, you will provide us with a range of days and hours during which it is convenient for you to learn. Based on this range and the the trial lesson you did, you will be paired up with a suitable teacher.
Your teacher will contact you and put you on a regular schedule with time slots specifically reserved to you.
To cancel or postpone a scheduled lesson, simply email your teacher a day in advance.
In case your schedule does not permit you to have lessons on regular days and hours, scheduling will be done from one lesson to the next.
